Annual Servicing & Inspection

Under BS 5306-3, all fire extinguishers in commercial and non-domestic premises must be serviced at least once every 12 months by a competent person. FIDEC's annual service visits keep your extinguishers fully operational, your documentation up to date, and your compliance position protected.

• Full annual inspection of every extinguisher on site; visual check, pressure test, tamper indicator check, and weight verification.

• Service labels updated and compliance documentation issued after every visit — ready for your fire risk assessment audit.

• Faulty or out-of-date extinguishers identified and flagged for replacement or recharging.

• Annual service contracts available; scheduled visits, reminder service, and priority response if an issue arises between visits.

Replacement & Recharging

Once a fire extinguisher has been discharged, whether in an emergency or during testing; it must be recharged or replaced before it can be relied upon again. FIDEC handles both, quickly and at a competitive cost.
